    List Styles/TOC (XP)

I was experimenting using List Styles (Format/Bullets and Numbering/List Styles). Since these are not headings, I can't use them for my TOC. Is there something I can do in order to use the list styles, or am I better off sticking with Outlined Numbering?

    Sherri,

You can include any style in a TOC, so as long as you apply list numbering with a style, it's easy. In the Table of Contents dialog, click Options. Then put a check mark next to the style(s) you want to include in the TOC.

Alternatively, you can use TOC field codes, but styles are so easy...
