    Admin login (XP - SP-2)

OK, I'm trying to get more prudent.

I was going to downgrade my everyday account from "Supervisor" level to "User". I know there's an Administrator user by default. I never did assign it a password at setup, as I use this machine alone, but now, if I want to use the "Run As" in the context menu, and I select Administrator, it *has* to have a password. And if I DID give Administrator one, I don't recall it.

So how do I fix this so that I can use the Run As option, and thereby start using a User account for everyday?

    Regards,

If your normal logon account is still a member of the administrator group Right click My computer, select Manage, Open the Local User and groups section, right click Administrator and select Set Password. Otherwise, login as the administrator and assign a password. Since most people do not assign a password to the Administrator account you can just try to login without one.
