    Triangle

What is the easiest way to create one of Pascal's triangle's in word? The user needs to be able to click on certain parts of the triangle to color in and make the triangle be a 5 multiple.

    Hi Melanie:

You don't specify the version of Word. In 97 or 2000, open the drawing toolbar. Click AutoShapes/Basic shapes & look for the triangle. Hold down the shift key while you draw. If you need to adjust the size, hold the shift key down while you drag a corner, to keep the same proportions.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Melanie
I tried this and it's a bit fiddly, but it works. You draw one triangle, then press Ctrl+D four times to copy it. Then, from the Draw menu you can Align the centres, then it's just a case of layering and sizing them so that they fit underneath each other with the bottom part exposed.
    Good luck.
