    Word and Adobe Acrobat (W2000)

I've been told it's possible to put a link in a Word document to a specific spot in an Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file? Could anyone point me in the correct direction of how to accomplish this -- primarily from the Word end.

    Thanks.

You need to set all the destinations as bookmarks and all the sources as Hyperlinks to the destinations, in the Word file.

Then, use the Acrobat PDFMaker macro to create the PDF rather than directly distill it. This can be done by clicking the Create Adobe PDF item in the File Menu which gets installed when you install Distiller.

In the Dialog Box that appears, go to the Output Tab and check the various options under "Links" in that tab. If you want to make the links visible, choose the Display Options Tab on the same Dailog Box and choose the appropriate settings.
