    duplicates (2003)

    Hello,

I am running a query, but need to exclude duplicates. Where in the query do I tell it to only give me unique or distint data? Is it in the criteria and what do I put. Thanks.

Click in an empty part of the upper half of the query design window.
Activate the Properties window (View | Properties if it isn't visible)
Set the Unique Values property to Yes.
(There is also a Unique Records property, if you set this to Yes, Access looks at *all* fields, not just the fields in your query, to determine uniqueness)
