LogOn Shortcut for a Specific mail Account (OE 6)

My wife and myself use the same outllook express on the same computer, naturally i have my default account and she has hers. Is there say a path statement or similar to force OE 6 to load her account as the default account.? And then I would use a different shortcut to load my account as the default. Or a better work around in general

If you are using XP, why not have a "Windows users account" for each of you and then you would each have access to only your email.

yes, but don't you have to keep logging off one person and logging on the other person?
This takes a lot of time on my xp computer

Yes, or you could buy her a computer and then she will leave yours alone.

Although I don't use OE, would this method work for you? You don't have to log off and log on to Windows to change users, and you can switch identities within OE. According to this article, if you end OE by following the File>Switch Identities>Log Off Identity>Yes method, OE will prompt you for an identity the next time you start OE. This way you can select either as the user for the current session. Just remember that you must end each OE session by following the above method if you want the user prompt each time.

Too bad you cant create a SHORTCUT for Each Identity through the Desktop So Wife Outlook Expess and Husband Outlook Express

Glad this works. Although ideal, the shortcut route is not possible (at least not that I'm aware of).
