    Auto-Shut Off

On some PC's, the system turns itself off after shutdown, while on others it doesn't. What dictates this behaviour, and how can I make a system turn itself off after shutdown?

    Thanks!

    Re: Auto-Shut Off

Drk are the ones that aren't yurning off ATX boxes or are they the older AT types. These don't turn off automatically at all. If not sure, the easiest way to tell is ATX motherboards host the ports like serial, parallel, etc rather than a cable to a separate port on the AT. Hope this helps. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

We've seen this happen when Power Management is disabled in the BIOS.
