    Excel Charting (Version 2003)

I have a user who plots pressure vs. volume. When the volume reaches a certain level, he wants it to plot pressure vs. time on the same chart. Does anybody have an idea on how to so?
    Thanks in advance.

Could you attach a workbook with an example of what you mean?

Here is the data, cleaned up. I hope it makes sense. From the shut-in point we want to switch to time from volumn.
    Thanks for looking at this.

If a naive chart is OK, you can simply select D5 : E33 and create a chart from it, for example a line chart. See screenshot below.
If you want an XY scatter chart, it cannot be done in a single chart, I believe (at least not in an easily interpretable way), you'd have to create two separate charts.

Thanks, Hans. However, I am attaching my file again with the chart. You will see it is different then yours. I want it to look like yours!
    Thanks,

    Do the following:

    - Click once on the chart.
    - Select Chart | Source Data.
    - Activate the Series tab.
    - The VOL series should be selected. If not, select it.
    - Click in the Values box, select the contents (=Sheet1!$D$6:$D$33) and press Ctrl+C to copy it.
    - Click in the Category Axis Labels box and press Ctrl+V to paste.
    - Click the Remove button.
    - Click OK.

You can fiddle with the formatting of the category (X) axis - alignment etc.
