Listing Contacts by Categories (Outlook 98 on Windows NT 4.0)

We had to import contacts from one Outlook to another. All the contacts are assigned a category that has been created by an old user.

The old user had the address cards set up so that the category appeared in the header of the address card. The cards were also grouped by categories (not simply listed alphabetically).

When imported the list, we kept the categories but lost the format. Any ideas?

Have you tried playing with the Current View settings? You can group the contacts by categories that way, but you may need to tweak some settings for it to look the way you want it to.

    Hope this helps!

Thank you for your suggestion. What we discovered was that if we right click on Contacts and select Properties, you can make the necessary adjustments in there.

    Thanks again!
