    Thanks, I tested it in IE 6 and IE 7, it works well in both.

    Re: Lounge Watch

    It somewhat surprises me that something like this hasn't been posted before, but.... (My tests were based on IE6 & Firefox 3. The HTML is so simple, it should work on IE3 & Netscape 4. <img src=/S/wink.gif border=0 alt=wink width=15 height=15>)

    It is a cool concept! <img src=/S/thankyou.gif border=0 alt=thankyou width=40 height=15> It is working in Safari V 2.0.4 as well! <img src=/S/thumbup.gif border=0 alt=thumbup width=15 height=15>

    Hmm... so simple eh? I'll have to dig out my Lynx installation <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>

    Argh!! Frames!!

    Okay... not simple enough for Lynx. But when viewing the lounge, who really only needs the text?

    Didn't Frames come in round about Netscape 3?

    I'd be very surprised if the pages rendered correctly on Pine......

    Re: Lounge Watch

    I do not know when frames came in, but Lynx doesn't like frames.

    Every linux distribution I use comes with a minimal GUI browser anyways - so having to use a text only browser isn't required any longer.

    Now saying that ... you never know when that telnet or ssh connection will require a remote http connection out <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>.

    This is very useful, thank you.

    I've now made a similar one for another forum I frequent.

    Re: Lounge Watch

    I'd increase the width of the box and decrease the padding-left a bit (to 110px and 5px, respectively) - that looks better to me in IE7.

    I have had a play with your idea and I though that a CSS with li and ul's may be another alternative...enjoy

    Re: Lounge Watch

    >a CSS with li and ul's may be another alternative

    Well, there's the screen real estate principle & the KISS principle & the "don't post in Web Design,Coding & Scripting as Jezza Bear is sure to have a more supersonic idea principle" <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15> - so I posted in Lounge Matters.... BTW I'm a great fan of CSS, but I tried to leave it open for people to add their own style sheet (or use their browser defaults).

    Re: Lounge Watch

    For those of you interested in a variation you could have two Boards (with >2 you see "nada") on lounge.htm by deleting the old contents and substituting this:

    <code><html><head>
    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="1800">
    <title>Lounge Watch</title>
    <link rel="shortcut icon" href="lex.ico" />
    <BASE HREF="http://www.wopr.com/cgi-bin/w3t/"></head>
    </head>

    <FRAMESET COLS="*,12*">
    <FRAME SRC="file:///c:/documents/Projects/Woody/boards.htm" frameborder=".1" framespacing="0" border="0" border="none" border="transparent" MARGINWIDTH="0" MARGINHEIGHT="0" SCROLLING=auto NORESIZE>
    <FRAMESET ROWS="*,*">
    <FRAME SRC="postlist.pl?Cat=&Board=vista" frameborder="0" framespacing="0" border="0"border="transparent" NAME="center"MARGINWIDTH="0" MARGINHEIGHT="..." SCROLLING=auto NORESIZE>
    <FRAME SRC="postlist.pl?Cat=&Board=xl" frameborder="0" framespacing="0" border="0"border="transparent" NAME="center"MARGINWIDTH="0" MARGINHEIGHT="..." SCROLLING=auto NORESIZE>
    </FRAMESET>
    </FRAMESET>
    <body>
    </body>

    </html>
    </code>
