Outlook as default (MSO 2003)

If when I go to IE, Internet Options, programs, and Outlook isn't offered as a choice for default, and ye it IS installed, how can/do I fix this?

Regards,
Chuck Billow

Re: Outlook as default (MSO 2003)

Try this:
- Quit all instances of Outlook.
- Select Start | Run...
- Type the following in the box:

"crogram filesmicrosoft officeoffice11outlook.exe" /checkclient

- Press Enter or click OK.
- Check the Programs tab of Tools | Internet Options in Internet Explorer.

Note: this assumes that you installed Office 2003 in the default folder. If not, modify the path in the line you type accordingly.
