    Safely Remove Hardware in SysTray

    Hi -

Is there a way to remove that icon without harming anything? (When I open it, it's for Netgear...wireless USB 2.0)

    Thanks,
    Acer

    Thanks, Hans -

This is "Hide when inactive," but perhaps because I did recently click on it (to determine what it might be), it still is showing. Or, when I'm online, will this always appear? (Being online via Broadband is new to me, so forgive my basic questions.)

Try setting the option for your Netgear thingy to 'Always hide'.
