    Delivered Twice? (Outlook 2000)

An odd thing happened yesterday I can't explain. A user on the network sent an email to two internet addresses and a copy to another users here in the building, along with file attachments. The email was sent at 12:33 p.m. in Rich Text format. The other user in the building received his copy immediately still in Rich Text format. Then that same other user received the same email a second time at 3:59 p.m. but that time in Plain Text format. We have an Exchange 2003 server and a single domain. Any guesses why this would happen? Suggestions on where to start looking for an answer?

Did the "other" user receive the second e-mail from the original sender, or perhaps from one of the other addressees?

The email was delivered twice to all recipients. It was sent To one internet address and Cc'd to two internet address and the other in-house user.

Let's hope that an Exchange expert sees this, I'm afraid I have no suggestions.
