FORMULA BAR and FULL SCREEN (2007)

I have somehow changed a setting so that although I have the Formula bar set to not showing, when I go to Full Screen it shows up; it is ruining the appearance of one of my best workbooks, which has a workbook_open macro which is intended to provide a clean screen. Help! What have I done and how can I undo it?

    Have you tried:

    Tools |Options | View Tab

    Tick "Show Formula Bar"

The code shown below, placed in the ThisWorkbook object will turn off the formula bar, status bar and scrollbars when your workbook is opened and turn those same bars back on when your workbook is closed. If you would like to keep the status bar and scroll bars, you can adjust the code accordingly.

Thank you both for that feast of learning. Problem solved, and I get the flag of the State of Missouri and a quotation in Latin from a mediaeval philosoper thrown in!
