    Trusted site message (IE6/SR2)

    Hello, Hello -

I have been receiving the message "When you send information to the Trusted sites, it might be possible for others to see that information. Do you want to continue?"

I "even" get the message when going to the Lounge..............

What does the message mean? If it's Trusted, how can others see it? Should I take sites OUT of the Trusted zone?

    Many thanks, Acer

    Hi Acer

It is nothing to worry about, it is just your security settings in IE.

Have a look here How to use security zones in Internet Explorer

    Jerry,

Thanks for your response. I had read that site before contacting the Lounge, but it didn't mention the bit about "it might be possible for others to see..." so I was unsure what do.

Form submissions that are not encrypted (e.g., using SSL -- https) can be read by anyone who intercepts them. The zone (trusted or otherwise) is a red herring in this message.
