    DSTupdate (XP SP2)

I have four PCs, all using automatic updates. Checked them all this morning and found that three had the correct DST. Number 4 was still on standard time. Figuring that one of the updates didn't take, I downloaded the DST patch from MS web site. When I installed the patch it failed with the msg that a later update has already been installed. PC #4 was rebooted after last set of updates, so I'm puzzled. What do i do next?

Can you just right click on the clock in the system tray, then adjust date/time and manually correct the time to DST?

You could try a system restore to a date before the patch was installed then reinstall the patch.

That's the easy way. I was just curious about what might have gone wrong. However, it's not worth the hassle. I'll just reset the clock manually.
    Thanks,

Is it possible that you don't have the "Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes" tick-box ticked in Date and Time Properties? (Double-click on the time at the bottom right of your screen).

Bingo! That box was not checked! Checked it and time changed correctly and said Eastern Daylight Time. A simple, but more satisfying fix than manually changing the time. Thanks to all who responded.
