Can a user suspend and resume macro execution? (2003 SP2)

    Aloha,
I have a data cleaning routine that requires some manual work at two points midway in the procedure. Is it possible to suspend execution of a macro so that the user can do some manual diddling, and enable the user to resume? Or is my only solution to create separate macros?
    Suggestions/comments appreciated, mahalo,

I'd split the macro into two separate macros.

(It's possible to pause macro execution, but that would require users to go into the Visual Basic Editor to resume execution, which IMHO is not a desirable option.
