    Print margins (2003)

One employee using a network printer is having trouble printing e-mail messages.

The text prints on the extreme left side of the paper and cuts off the first and second characters of each line. His MS Word documents print correctly on the same printer.

I've set his Outlook print option to "memo style" and, in the page setup screen, his left margin to .5 and then to 1.0 to no avail. Can you suggest anything else? I also tried modifying his print style but that made the character cut off worse.

    Thanks in advance,
    Susan

    1) What is the format of the e-mail messages? Plain text, Rich text, HTML?
    2) Does this employee use Word as e-mail editor?

    Hi Hans,

The format of the e-mail messages is HTML and
Use MS Office Word 2003 to edits e-mail messages is toggled but
Use MS Office Word to read Rich Text e-mail messages is not toggled

    Thanks,
    Susan

Printing HTML messages uses the Internet Explorer engine. Let the employee check whether the left margin in page setup in Internet Explorer has been set differently than the left margin in Outlook. If so, try setting them to the same value.
