    Wireless keyboards run how long?

My MS keyboard started acting flakey last night, and I went looking fro a replacement.

    Wireless is intriguing.

How long does a "standard" wireless keyboard and mouse run between charges, and how long does the charge take?

For cordless mouse and keyboards, I think rechargeable batteries is a waste of time (and maybe money). I'm now on my second Logitech cordless KB/Mouse combo and the two AAA batteries in the keyboard last so long that it's not even worth talking about! The batteries in the mouse have lasted 5 or 6 months and the price of AA or AAA batteries is a pittance, in my opinion. Go (optical or laser) cordless...
