    Opening PDF Hyperlink (All Access)

We are running a program in Access that links to a number of PDF documents.
Acrobat Reader is installed on my PC however Scansoft PDF Conveter 3 is installed and is the default program for opening PDF's.
When I open a PDF from Explorer, Outlook or any where else it opens in Scansoft (which i want it to do) - however when I use the hyperlink in Access it opens in Acrobat Reader.
Does any one have any ideas to make the PDF open in Scansoft from the Access program too rather than Acrobat Reader?

You may have to use a command button to open the files instead of a hyperlink. Code could look like this:
Shell """path to scansoft app"" ""path to PDF""", vbNormalFocus</code>
