    Read Only (2K3)

    Is there a way to protect a powerpoint presentation from being changed...

    You can specify a password for editing the presentation in the Security tab of Tools | Options...
    If you set such a password, users who don't know the password can only open the presentation as read-only, i.e. they can view it, but not edit it, save it under another name, copy sheets etc.
