    Insert Excel file (Word/Excel 2003)

I am trying to insert an Excel spreadsheet, 1 page, into a Word document. The page setup on the spreadsheet is "Fit to 1 page" (52%) in order to fit a on single page (portrait). When I ensert the spreadsheet it overflows the Word page. Is there any way of inserting the speadsheet so that if fits the Word page?
    Thank you.

Re: Insert Excel file (Word/Excel 2003)

The "Fit to 1 page" setting is effective in Excel only, it doesn't affect the inserted table in Word.

If you insert (paste) the table in Word as an Excel worksheet object or as a picture, you can reduce the size of the object/picture in the Size tab of the Format Object / Picture dialog.
If you insert (paste) the table as formatted text or HTML, it becomes a Word table, and you'll have to adjust the size of the text and of the cells manually.
