    Too Large Attachment (2007)

I tried to send someone an email w/ a 700MB attachment through my Gmail account through Outlook. The send/receive completes normally although the message has not been sent. Now when I try to delete this huge email I get the message "Some items cannot be deleted. They were either moved or already deleted, or access was denied." Any ideas how I can get rid of the errant email? TIA

Perhaps Outlook is still trying to send it. See if you can delete the e-mail after selecting File | Work Offline.

Thanks Hans for the try, but it did not work. I even restarted Outlook, confirmed that it was in Offline mode, and still could not delete it. Thanks again for trying.

    Try the following:
    - Create a new Outlook data file (.pst file).
    - Make it your default .pst file.
    - Restart Outlook.
    - If necessary, open the old .pst file.
    - Try to delete the offending e-mail.
    - If you succeed, you can make the old .pst file the default again.
    - Otherwise, you may have to transfer all mails (except the offending one), appointments etc. to the new file, and keep on using that. Close the old one.
