    Chart Title (XL 2000)

    Well, I seem to be getting too old to remember how to chart data any more. <img src=/S/gramps.gif border=0 alt=gramps width=20 height=20> <img src=/S/exclamation.gif border=0 alt=exclamation width=15 height=15>

I have a chart on a worksheet. The Chart Title is in cell A1. How do I link the actual chart title to use the info in A1. I've tried a dozen things, but not the right one yet. TIA --Sam

    Re: Chart Title (XL 2000)

Specify any chart title in step 3 of the Chart Wizard, or afterwards in the Chart Options dialog.
    Click on the chart title.
Type = then point to the cell, or enter it as a formula including the sheet name: =Sheet1!A1.
    Press Enter.
    That's it!
