Printing (not) (Excel 2003 on XP SP2)

I can print from all my other Office Professional applications.

From Excel nothing happens, and theres nothing in the print queue !

I have turned on "Review before printing" (that's a printer setting) and can see the document before it is printed. When I select "Print" the printer dialog comes up as usual (its an Epson, it just displays the amount of ink left etc) - then nothing.

I'm surviving by pasting into Word (!) but would appreciate ideas. It looks like Excel is the issue - I've created a new workbook and it too will not print.

    Thanks

    Hi Martin

Try going via the File|Print menu and re-selecting(I think that is a word) your preferred printer and make sure print to file is unchecked

The workbook prints fine here. Try the suggestions in Jan Karel Pieterse's Systematic Approach to Behavioral Problems in XL Star Post.

I feel silly ! I selected another printer, then back to my default - and all's well.
    Many thanks.
