Macro to mail message (Outlook 2003)

Can someone maybe help me with a macro to send a message out. I would like to setup an icon that will send the open message out to another address. I know it would be better to create a rule but I want to decide whether it should go out or not

    TIA

Why don't you click the Forward button?

To be honest I'm to lazy to click forward and then selecting the right address. I will be "saving" 1 click.

Re: Macro to mail message (Outlook 2003)

Try this (based on the example in the Outlook VBA help for the Forward method):

    Sub ForwardIt()
    Dim objInspector As Inspector
    Set objInspector = ActiveInspector
    If TypeName(objInspector) = "Nothing" Then
    MsgBox "No open item.", vbExclamation
    Else
    With objInspector.CurrentItem.Forward
    .Recipients.Add "you@somewhere.com"
    .Send
    End With
    End If
    Set objInspector = Nothing
    End Sub

You must subsitute the correct e-mail address, of course.

Open any e-mail message or start a new one.
Select Tools | Customize... in the message window.
    Activate the Commands tab.
Select Macros in the list of categories.
Drag the ForwardIt macro from the list of commands to a convenient place on a toolbar.
(It will probably be listed as Project1.ForwardIt or something similar)
Right-click the new button to modify its properties.
