PAPER SIZE (WORD2003)

Hi,

I have 2 documents that must be identical.
From page setup both have size A4, I went to print properties and both are the same (letter I think), both are mirrored.
Still when I use compare (tile vertically) they don't end in the same place. One has a wider grey space when the horizontal scroll is all the way to the right.
In zoom (which is the same for both) word shows you how the page looks on the screen and again this difference is obvious.
Anybody have any ideas why this could be happening?

Do you mean the gray space to the right of the document? That is not really relevant. Or do you mean the gray part of the ruler? If so, check the margins in the Margins tab of File | Page Setup for both documents.

The margins are the same. I mean the grey space after the page. You say it is not relevant.
Still why would this be?

The gray space indicated in the screenshot below is not part of the document. Its size depends on the size of the Word window and on the zoom percentage.
