Formula to Copy/Move Text (Excel 2003)

Hi,

I need to reformat a worksheet and move/copy text from COL A to COL C if the corresponding row cell is blank.

Have attempted an "IF" formula, but wasn't successful. Done a search on help & thought may have found a fix with ASAP Utils but no luck.

Can any loungers assist with a solution please?
Have attached a small example of what I'm trying to acheive.

Thanks

You cannot use a formula in one cell to change the value in another cell. You could run this macro:

Sub MoveAToC()
Dim m As Long
Dim r As Long
m = Range("A65536").End(xlUp).Row
For r = 1 To m
If Range("C" & r) = "" And Not Range("A" & r) = "" Then
Range("A" & r).Cut Destination:=Range("C" & r)
End If
Next r
End Sub

If you want to copy instead of move, change Cut to Copy.
