Open a table as read only. (Access 2003)

    Just a quick question!
I can use a macro to open a table as read only, but can i open it manually as read only? If so...how?

I'll take your word for it...but I do find this strange! Usually macro properties are available on the standard interface. I find it strange that this is not the case? Any reasons why?

That's new to me. However, it is not important, since end users should never open a table or query directly, and if I as developer open a table, I want to be able to edit data...

    True!
I guess the context of my question does not really suit Access! <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>
    Tx for the help!
