HOSTS file (Vista Ultimate)

(Edited by PaulB on 30-Mar-07 21:58. Sorry... a new search turned up the "Hosts" file in Vista. I must have made a mistake in my previous search.)
Looks like a slow night at the Lounge, so I'll toss out another question...

Does Vista have a "Hosts" file (or equivalent) as XP did?

The reason I ask is that I periodically download a "Hosts" file that has been altered to block most ad server sites. This makes the web browsing experience so much more enjoyable (and faster). If possible, I'd like to carry on that practice with Vista.

    Cheers,
    Regards,
    PaulB

    Re: HOSTS file (Vista Ultimate)

Thanks, Mike. I have found the Hosts file, but have not yet attempted to update it. This information will be useful for when I do.

    Cheers,
    Regards,
    PaulB
