    Font manager recommendations anyone?

    Hi loungers

Found an old post re font viewers, but wondered what your latest recommendations might be for a good one? I need to have a good font declutter, and also want to be able to quickly view them, print a sample catalog and possibly add searchable comments to them so I can find them easily, oh and free would be good otherwise not too pricey. Don't want much eh:-)

    Suggestions as ever gratefully received

One that I have found to be very useful is Typograph. What sets this one apart from the others is that it can display the keyboard layout for symbol fonts and non-English fonts, e.g., Celtic Patterns, WingDings, WebDings, etc. You can even print the keyboard layout for easy reference.

An older one which was very popular is FontThing.

And I used to use something called MyFonts which I thought was VERY helpful, but I admit I haven't even re-installed it on this machine and I'm not sure if the software has even been updated for a couple of years. At least you could give the web site a look: Always Open: UniTech / MyTools.com

Here is a free one for you. I've always had this on my machines; seldom use it; but have never had any problems with it and it does what it says it will. By the way, there are some other useful utilities on this site and they too, are free.
