Using Charts as a Thermometer (Excel 2000)

    Good afternoon -

I have data for 12 different months that I'd like to use in a chart, looking like a thermometer. Each month that I add new data, I would like it to dump into the chart (thermometer) to give us a guage at how we are progresssing in relation to a goal.

Does this make sense? I've attached an example. Thanks!
