lines in a word document (compatibility mode in office 2007)

Edited by HansV to make URL clickable

Hi, first of all, i need to delete/remove empty lines in the whole document like lines between 2 paragraphs, or other unnecessary lines. I want to make my 2 MB document with over 50,000 lines just like a big paragraph with the removel of the empty lines and the merging of two seperate lines to form a paragraph.

The reason is that i want to work with the document on my pocket pc WORD. However, if i open a document with over 8186 lines, i receive an error message, stating, error opening file.
Please follow this link for complete article, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/891669

    Kind Regards,

You could use Edit > Replace, to replace all paragraph marks (^p) with spaces. This will leave you with one big paragraph for the whole document.
