    Word Training (Word 2000)

The more I try to learn Word 2000, the more I realize that I would probably benefit form some professional help. Can anyone suggest how to go about looking for a course in Word or Office 2000? Is local university (clisest is University of Georgia) the way to go or does MS provide something? I would eventually like to teach Office so some sort of ceritfication would probably be helpful. Thanks in advance.

    Re: Word Training (Word 2000)

In my area <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>, a lot of OFFICE training, and other subjects are provided by local community colleges and a number of private companies. You might look for the private firms in the yellow pages or do a web search for suppliers in your area. Alternatively, do a web search on "MS Word 2000 training" or some combination of these key words and see what you get.

Another suggestion -- you may be able to get CBT material at local bookstores and across the web or you could buy one of those "Learn MS WORD 2000 in 14 days" type of publications if you are good at learning from books -- not everyone is. Another source of material is from some of the online web sites such as Charles Kenyon's -- http://www.addbalance.com/usersguide/.
