Changing the size of the Desktop Icons tip (Vista All)
The default means to change the size of Vista's Desktop icons is to right-click on the Desktop, choose "View" and then click on one of the three size options available.
However, you can also hold down the "Ctrl" key while scrolling the wheel on your mouse and you can adjust the size of the Desktop icons both larger and smaller in about 20 different increments. So, you no longer have to choose between small medium or large. In Vista, the "Ctrl+wheel" works in Windows Explorer too.
Additionally, this resizing feature also works in IE7 for both Vista and Win XP. <IMG SRC=http://www.the-highway.com/Smileys/bigglasses.gif>Jeff
