Windows Blocks Startup programs (Vista Home Premium)
I have disabled a few programs in MsConfig. Most of the entries I have deleted from the Registry, so they do not appear in MsConfig anymore.
However a couple that I might switch back on (eg Sidebar) I have left in MsConfig.
Each time I boot, I get a dialog box and an entry in the systray telling me Windows has Blocked STartup progs, wand asking what I want to do.
If I choose to view the blocked progs, it opens MsConfig which shows me the two progs that I in fact disabled, not Windows.
My questions are
1 Am I missing any other progs that Vista may genuinely be blocking?
2 If as I suspect, I am not, is there a way to stop this annoying message and its subsequent systray entry?

Re: Windows Blocks Startup programs (Vista Home Premium)
1.) Probably not. That is the result of using Msconfig to do a selective startup.
2.) In older versions of Msconfig there was a check box that essentially said 'don't show me this again'.
