Was the add-in to save as PDF installed on the Vista PC? See Download details: 2007 Microsoft Office Add-in: Microsoft Save as PDF or XPS.

Yes I did (but it would be just like me to forget something as simple as that). Both machines display the same options in the "Send Object" dialog as well.

I have neither Office 2007 nor Windows Vista, so I hope that someone else can help.

    Re: Weird pfd (2007)

Thanks Hans. I notice that the error msg is from Access, so I'm just presuming it's not an OS issue. I'll try to bring the old db over in A2003 and see if that makes any difference. Have a great day!

    Got it!
Indirectly, I guess it did have something to do with the OS. The XP machine is running ClickYes to allow the e-mail without the irritation of the security warning when sending e-mail to Outlook from another application

    Weird pdf (2007)

The attached code was used to send a Snapshot form to an e-mail recipient in A2003 on a XP machine. I ammended acFormatSNP to acFormatPDF and it works just fine (sending the attachment in .pdf format) in A2007 on the same XP machine. I have the same db installed on a new Vista machine but I get an error when running the very same code "format not available". Strange that both db's are in A2007, but that it only works on the XP machine and not Vista. Any help greatly appreciated (as always).
