How to set the default Excel version (All)

    Hi Guys,

In my machine I have installed all the three versions of office ( i.e MS Office 2000,2002,2003). How can I set a perticular Excel version as default. ( I must be able to change the default version as I wish) .

Re: How to set the default Excel version (All)

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

To set Excel 2003 as default:
    - Select Start | Run... (in Windows)
    - Type

    "C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice11Excel.exe" /regserver

    - Press Enter or click OK.

For the other versions, do the same but adjust the path - check where exactly Excel.exe is installed for each of the versions. It's probably ...Office10 for Excel 2002 and ...Office for Excel 2000.
