    Favorites Folder Location (IE4/5)

Is ther a way of changing the location of the Favorites folder from the default Windows folder, to a different drive. I use a separate drive for all user data, for easy backup

Yes, but you will have to edit your registry, so make sure you have a backup.

The attached file (courtesy of Xteq X-Setup) can be downloaded, edited, renamed to a .REG file, and merged onto your system. It provides hooks for not just favorites but the other standard folders as well.

Make sure you create the new directories BEFORE you implement any changes. Also, you will have to copy any data you want to save from the old location to the new location.

Thanks - will try it. I imply that this gives Xteq (which I have), tha ability to modufy these folders, and is therefore installed in Xteq as a plug-in??

Correct. Check Plugins under "System|File System|Folders: Data".

This one is "Internet Explorer Data".
