Did you forget the attachment? IF it's larger than 100k, you will have to zip it or send a smaller sample...

If you compress the file with PKZIP would that make it less than 100k? I'm afraid it is going to be almost impossible to guess what the problem might be without seeing it workbook.

    What happened?? (Excel 2003)

One of my field guys sent in his time sheet (not created by me) and asked me to find out why the crazy "borders" on many of the cells.
I looked at it for a couple of hours but I can not figure out what happened to it.
They seem to be drawn lines but there are too many of them to have that happen.
    Anyone have an idea?
Ok, zipping it worked. I didn't think it would compress that far.
    Thanks.

I don't know how those "marks" got there, but the quick way to remove them is to select Edit | Go To | Special | Objects, then press the delete key. The rest of the borders are just cell borders.

John, Thank you. That got rid of those lines. I had never come across that one before.
I will remember (maybe) if it comes my way again.

    Tim,

I got rid of most of the line by using the "select object" tool (in the drawing menu), the lines will then be selected and then hit delete - gone
