Remove C++ How?

    I was working on a friend's PC Sunday when a friend of hers called, and she ended up asking me how to remove the programming language C++. Apparently it is taking up a large chunk of her hard drive, and was only used by her (no longer around) husband. She said she already looked in Control Panel|Add and Remove Programs, and there is no entry tor it.

    It might not be listed under C - perhaps it's Borland C++, or Microsoft Visual C++, or it might be part of Microsoft Visual Studio.

    A search for *.cpp should turn up any files created by the program and might give an indication of where the underlying program is located or what it's listed as.

    If it's that big you might be able to determine where it's hiding by inspecting the results from the Treesize 2.0 utility, which lists all directory sizes and can drill down to lower-level directories......

    PS Example follows, but only the root directory has been expanded.

    Ita, esto, quidcumque...
