    Powerpoint fonts changing (2000)

We are having some trouble with fonts changing to Monotype Corsiva in some of our PowerPoint presentations. The change is occurring on the same machine that created the presentations, so it is not a matter of the other fonts not being there. Any suggestions?

Have you tried to embed the fonts, and then save?

I would also look at the Slide Master. Could be your slide master is set to the Monotype font and someone has changed that font on one slide then duplicated that slide to create new ones. Then, if someone would reapply the original slide layout or a different slide layout PP would apply the Master slide Font.

Thanks, I was thinking about that when I was writing, but forgot to put it in there <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

In the Save As dialog box - look for the "tools" option. You should find the embedding option there.

In PPT, select Tools..Options..Save, there should be an checkbox next to 'embed true type fonts'.

    Hope that helps,
