    Query Form - User Criteria (2000)

    Hello, have a form that the user inputs criteria to run a query. One of the query fields is a text field, there will be instances where we need do a search where that field is null or when it is not null. what can I put on m y user form to idnicate this? Many thanks Darren.

    You can let the user enter "Is Null" or "Is Not Null" (without the quotes) in the text box. The query will treat them as literal strings, not as the Is Null / Is Not Null criteria, but you can handle that in the query. See the attached example, using the tblCustomers table from the Northwind sample database.
