Questions about e-mail accounts (OL 2003)

Loungers

I have some questions about e-mail accounts and MS-Outlook 2003:

1) When you make a new e-mail account, Tools | E-mail Accounts | Add a new e-mail account and then you get the E-mail Accounts dialog box and you choose options. Where is this information stored? Can I backup the file that contains this information and use it on different machines?

2) Is there a limit of how many accounts you can have?

Thanks for any information.

Cordially

1) In the registry, in HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWindows Messaging SubsystemProfiles.

2) I don't know of a limit, but I'm sure something will go wrong if you create 100,000 accounts.

As to Number 1, HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindo ws NTCurrentVersionWindows Messaging SubsystemProfiles

Do you think that if I arrange the accounts there, they would be processed in the sequence I want?

Thanks

Maybe this will help E-Mail Processing in Outlook 2002 This is fairly similar to the way you can do it in Outlook '07
Thanks John

The account order is also available in the first dialog under Tools | Email Accounts | View or change existing.... But recently I remember having problems where my two accounts were not processed in the order they appeared, so I renamed them in ASCII order and that worked (like this, not rocket science):
"1_ispaccount"
"2_gmailaccount"
