    KVM Switch and Microsoft Mouse

I have a KVM switch that has worked fine with 2 previous mice, neither of which was a Microsoft mouse. I just switched to a Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 and it doesn't work with the KVM switch. Everything was working fine prior to changing mice and I installed the most recent driver on both computers.
    Suggestions?
    Thanks.

    Hi John

Just trying to get some more background.

Does the mouse have a USB dongel and if so where is it plugged in? The KVM switch or the PC/laptop

Have a look at MSKB 239679: The pointer may behave erratically when you try to switch between two computers that are connected to a single Microsoft pointing device - I've never had much joy switching anything more than the standard 2-button mouse.
