Struggling with IF function again. (Excel 2002/2003)

    Hi

As usual I am struggling with if formula.

    =IF((E19>0,Total_Disc)*VLOOKUP(Prod_1,LayPall,4,0) *E19,IF(F19>0,Total_Disc*VLOOKUP(Prod_1,LayPall,5, 0,*F19))

E19 and F19 are validated so that you can only enter a number in one or the other.

    Regards

    I believe you want:
    =IF(E19>0,Total_Disc*VLOOKUP(Prod_1,LayPall,4,0)*E 19,IF(F19>0,Total_Disc*VLOOKUP(Prod_1,LayPall,5,0) *F19,0))

You haven't told us what the formula is supposed to do, so the following is guesswork:

    =IF(E19>0,Total_Disc*VLOOKUP(Prod_1,LayPall,4,0)*E 19,IF(F19>0,Total_Disc*VLOOKUP(Prod_1,LayPall,5,0) *F19,""))

    Hi Rory

Thanks to you and Hans for your prompt replies, both do what I require.
