    msn network (current)

I had to change isp's and had to go to msn network. The installation of msn network added a second version of ie called "premium" - has all kinds of cutesy aol like stuff that I would like to get rid of - for example the woman's voice welcoming me and saying goodbye

I still seem to have the other ie (ie7???) and it seems to work fine - not sure what this new thing does except somehow help with email - I normally use firefox and only keep ie around for the url's that have glitches with firefox.

Is this interpretation right? Any ideas on where to find out what all this is about?

    Thanks
    Tom

There is no objection against using the 'plain' version of Internet Explorer.
