    WPOR Add-Ins (W2K SP2 / Office XP)

A very long time ago I installed some of the WOPR Add-Ins from the CD in the book. (Placebar, Enveloper, Image extractor) I never use them now, but the vestiges live on through my upgrades. Most noticable in Outlook->tools drop-down menu.

How can I remove them from all the places they may still be lurking?

    Thanks,

    MikeC

Are WOPR component removable via Control Panel | Add/emove Programs? I don't have any WOPR add-ins in Outlook, but the most likely place =in Outlook= is under Tools | Options | Other | Advanced Options .. look for WOPR components under both the Add-in Manager and Com Add-ins dialogs, and uncheck them.

    Hello John,

No, they are not evident in Control Panel ->Add/Remove Programmes or Outlook ->tools-Other->Add-In Manager or Com Add-ins.

I have a funny feeling that they were put in place via a word document with built-in macros....

I do not have WOPR, so can't help much. There is advice on uninstalling WOPR here in the WOPR FAQ.

    John hi,

Do you know I searched the forums for this stuff and never thought to look for FAqs. I have printed them off and will let you know how I get on...
