Entering text - update automatic in rest of doc (Hi)

    Hi,
Here's my problem. On the first page of my document I need to put the name of the customer and the title of their document. The same information needs to come in the header and footer in the same document. Now I would like to enter this information on the first page so that this will automatically be adapted in the header and footer. So when I enter the text on page 1, it has to come automatically in the header and footer on the rest of the pages. And I have no idea how to do this? Can anyone help? Thanks a lot.

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

Cross references in the header or footer don't update automatically, so you'd need VBA code to accomplish this. The zipped template attached to <post:=259,183>post 259,183</post:> demonstrates a slightly different approach: when you create a document based on the template, a small userform is displayed that lets the user enter some information, and this will be displayed in the header. The userform can be called up at any later moment to edit the information.
