Coloring text fields in a subform (2003)

I have a subform that exists as a datasheet and I want to color some of the text fields to alert the people inputing data. I have tried to go to the subform but to no avail. Is there anyway to do this or is the hangup the subform being a datasheet?

Select a text box, then select Format | Conditional Formatting. You can specify up to three different conditions, with different formatting such as text color or background color for each.

Thanks. Is there anyway to change the color on the labels of the subform ?

What kind of subform is it? Datasheet, continuous or single?

I didn't think labels were displayed in datasheet forms. Or do you mean the column headers? You cannot customize those in a datasheet form.
